This page explains how Flow Migrator handles your data and workflow exports. We keep this short and practical; if you have questions, contact us.
Summary (V1)
- The Analyzer processes uploaded workflow exports to generate a preview report (supported / partial / unsupported) and a flow outline.
- Free Analyzer: your uploaded file is processed to generate results and is not kept long-term.
- Pro: to provide saved history and improved diagnostics, we store uploaded workflow exports and generated reports by default for up to 6 months, then delete them.
What we collect
- Workflow metadata: workflow name, detected trigger type, and best-effort extracted targets (for example SharePoint site/list names) to populate the preview report.
- Operational logs: timestamp, status/error, and basic request info (IP address and user-agent) for abuse prevention, reliability, and debugging.
- Account/billing info (Pro): details required to authenticate your account and manage billing.
Workflow uploads
Workflow exports can contain business logic and references to systems you use. We treat uploads as sensitive.
- Uploads are used only to produce the Analyzer report and (when applicable) to generate a Power Automate import package.
- We do not sell workflow uploads.
- We may use aggregated learnings from uploaded workflows to improve action mapping and diagnostics (for example, identifying common unsupported patterns).
Retention
- Free Analyzer: uploads are processed transiently to produce results and are not retained long-term.
- Pro: uploads and reports are retained by default for up to 6 months so you can revisit runs and we can troubleshoot conversion issues.
Deletion requests
If you want your Pro history deleted sooner, contact support and include the filename and approximate upload time.
On-prem workflows
Nintex for SharePoint on-prem exports (.nwf/.wf) are labeled Experimental (not officially supported yet) in V1. If you upload an on-prem workflow, expect incomplete mapping and placeholders.
